This painting is 56"x125”, mixed media on canvas and the basis is about the Immigrant women empowerment in America.
The main message that I am trying to give is simple but artistically complex, with a strong - intrigued composition style.
“All these people from different parts of the world is what makes and gives meaning to America as a nation.
The image reflects 3 women, from Central-South America, Africa and the Middle East.
There is a slight separation within the painting but a connection at the same time, where each side consists of messages about each women’s background, culture, phrases, images, histories, love, abuse.
From my point of view, women represent life, power and beauty in our world, specially in our country.
My goal is to show this painting in a place where it can give not just an impact to the viewers, but a message of who we really are as humans, our appreciation of each other as one and not a separation by colors of beliefs.

Josué Guardia's individual perceptioned style merges divergent visual impressions of abstraction, modernism, neo-expressionism symbolic meanings.... His technique is a reaction of expressions with high perception and colorful composition.
His past works varies from designing for international big wave surfer Mark Visser in Australia to non - profit mural events. He has participated in art group exhibitions and solo exhibitions in the States and internationally , live body painting events, artworks for american and overseas models, clothing designer, etc.
Josué Fernando Guardia was born in Lima, Peru.
He grew up by the ocean with a city lifestyle, which helped discover a mixed interest for surfing and art.
His mother was an executive Movie -TV Media Producer before immigrating to The States and his dad is a Maestro Tailor - an artistic atmosphere was always present during his childhood without it being noticed.
At a young age, he interacted with people from different backgrounds and social statues, making him build his own personal view & concept of life.
He won a National High School Art competition with just a pencil
At the age of 17, he left Peru, moved to New York and studied at La Guardia C.C.
He has traveled to many countries and learned about people, cultures, and how different life’s realities are out in the world. That's when he discovered his passion for art as a way of expression.

Statement
Art is what I unconsciously feel and think; it is like the other half of me provoking anxiety of needing to create something that flashes through my mind, where in the end, gives a release of an unknown satisfaction.
The best life schooling comes from the people you encounter throughout our existence.
Every individual is a breathing movie;
there is a story behind the reactions and gestures we make;
the way we smile, think, and feel emotions- this is part of our life's scars through our experiences
